What online games have you played?

Which ones have you tried out and play on a regular basis? Are they free to play or is there a monthly fee for them?


I tend to stgay away from ones that costs me money, and will play ones like the Pirates of the Caribbean MMO game and one called Travian. Both are good in their own ways. I would have loved to to have been able to try RO out back when it was free.

The only one I've played is that Pirates of the Caribbean Online. I don't see paying money to play a game online and I have yet to find any good free games, other than POTC. It's not that I CAN'T find them, I just haven't been looking, even though it'd be fun to play more games like that.

The only online games I've ever played would be Starcraft and Warrock. As for XBL I've played CoD4, Fear, CoD3, Saints Row, etc.

Wait, do you still have Starcraft?

I am always looking for more people to play that with, either in regular games or UMS.

Sadly, I must say the only online games i currently play are MMORPGs...

I'm hoping to change that soon, though...

Hell, this could be a fun way to let the forum members do something together.

It is fun, and we should make a CR clan for the forum members who play it. Also, Grave, I was reading the FAQ on there and did you know it will reset your levels when a clan reaches a set power like 5,000,000 or so? That means all our work will be reset eventually.

Yeah, Lord Of Legends has seasons that reset after a number of months.

I have been playing this game for like 3-4 years now, but I stopped for a couple years until a few days ago.

i play world of warcraft alot, i think the monthly fee is justified becaus of the amount of gameplay you get, i tried guildwars which is free to play online but it did not hold the same appeal for me persionally, i am really looking forward to Warhammer age of reckoning this looks like it is going to be good

I dislike most MMO games because they require way too much play time, and most of the time spent playing is doing nothing more than grinding.

More MMO games should play closer to a more Diablo 2 style, where you can play for an hour or 2 a day and then go to bed.

while i agree there is a certain amount of grinding out involved, that only really comes into effect if thats the way you wish to play the game, in WoW there is a lot of questing that you can complete in no time at all, some things you need to try and get a group together to complete which again adds to the gameplay for me as people then have to start working together, we form guilds and help each other out when needed also. i can go on WoW play for and hour and still accomplish quite a lot. thats the beauty the pace of the game is entirely dictated by yourself, i have been playing for just under a year and still do not have a character that has reached the current lvl cap

Me neither, my highest level character is 61 and I've got about 2 months of total playtime on it.

As for games I've played:

WoW, which I played for quite a while but I suck at PvP, which was what I actually enjoyed about the game.

Runescape, which I played for a bit, but then sold my account for £10.

Final Fantasy XI, which is so hard. I started playing on a Warrior, got to level 9 and made about 250gp in loot, just enough to buy a silly little hat. :/ Then it was hard to find groups because half of the players couldn't speak English, and it's ridiculously hard to solo past level 10, apparently.

There's a few BYOND games, stuff on Steam and stuff on Xbox Live, as well as Infected, Mario Kart DS and Custom Robo Arena.

You still playing games on BYOND at all?

If so, I would definitely be up for some games over that if you have any good ones to suggest

Not right now, but I can reinstall it to see how it is lately. I've got like 200gigs of secondary harddrive to waste.
