Went to the CD store this afternoon and bought 5 used CD's, and ordered 2 new CD's which should be in on Tuesday. The CD's I bought today were:

Wax Poetic - The Nublu Sessions($4.99 used)

Venom - Welcome To Hell($4.99 used)

Velvet Acid Christ - Church Of Acid($4.99 used)

Sodom - Code Red($4.99 used)

Future Sound Of London - Accellerator($6.99 used)

I already own a copy of Acelerator from before, but this was a special edition version with some bonus tracks.

Also, the 2 CD's I ordered were:

Leviathan - Massive Conspiracy Against All Life

Darkthrone - A Blaze In The Northern Sky

I also tried to pre-order the new Flight Of The Conchords and Opeth, but they told me it was too soon for me to pre-order Sad

I'll try again in a few weeks for that.

I just got 2 Iced Earth CDs earlier: Dark Saga and Horror Show. Dark Saga was $3.45 used and Horror Show was $3.95 used. I'd never heard either one before so I just now popped Dark Saga in for a listen.

Got 6 new (to me) CDs a few days ago:

Nuclear Assault - Third World Genocide $14.99 new

And I recieved 2 CDs as a gift:

Mystic Prophecy - Satanic Curses
Power Quest - Magic Never Dies

I bought Fates Warning on a whim, and it's decent, but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or not. I bought Into Eternity because I'd heard a few songs and they're pretty good, but I haven't heard any songs from this particular album. The rest I had a good idea of what I was getting beforehand.

Mystic Prophecy is power metal at it's core, but also borrows from US power and thrash bands like Iced Earth.

Assuming you don't have to be a member (unless you are, I dunno) there are full length songs there.

Power Quest is more traditional power metal and has been influenced by bands such as Stratovarius and Rhapsody.

I recommend checking them both out, since I know you're a fan of power metal.

Also, another recent album purchase - Iron Maiden - Dance of Death for $9.95 used.

I bought Running Wild's "Death or Glory" CD for $11.99 used online, so hopefully that'll be here soon. One down, about 30 more to go, thanks to Last.fm radio. lol.

I pre-ordered Flight of the Conchords by Flight of the Conchords on Amazon.com a few weeks ago. I should get the CD sometime next week, possibly Friday or Saturday.

I bought Venom - Cast in Stone for $4.99 used. I listened to the samples in the store and thought it was pretty good, and the price was pretty much unbeatable.

That's actually a pretty good album, but i'm not sure if I would call it Venom's best or not.

But yeah, it's well worth $4.99!

I got my FotC album on the 23rd of April. A day after it was released, so that's pretty decent since it took only a day to get here.

Anyways I was at wal-mart yesterday, and I noticed Dream Theaters Greatest Hit and other cool songs (or whatever the album was called), I was actually going to buy it, but my brother didn't want me to because we're supposed to get GTAIV. But oh well, once I get that $300 maybe I'll pick that up.

Hey, guess what I got this afternoon?

Yup, I finally got the FoTC album! The price was $12.99 new, and I just got home with it about an hour or 2 ago.

While I was at the CD store, I also bought Killing Joke - Night Time for $12.99 new, and Mr. Bungle - Disco Volente for $7.99 used. Also saw this weird looking Porcupine CD that looked like it was in a DVD-Audio or SA-CD case. The only reason I didn't buy it is because I don't have a DVD-Audio or SA-CD player. Maybe it was just a regular CD in a weird looking case? I will have to research it.

Also, this is my 1300th post!
