Free games to play online

Some other forums have had a thread like this, but I figured I should give it a shot here as well.

Basically what I plan to do with this thread is compile a list of games which we can all play online together. For ease of reference, this thread will be stickied.

Anyone who has games to suggest, tell me and i'll add it to my list. Please include website links and some sort of description on the type of game it is.

It's the only thing in that directory of games that I suggest looking through. Most are alright, some are free to try. Thats where I found Knight Online.

What's Knight Online like?

Is it a browser RPG, a game you download or what exactly?

I know of a fairly decent FPS called Warrock. http://www.warrock.net/

It's a fairly fun game, but decided to uninstall it when it started to mess up after an update. I tried to re-install it, but decided not to.

Doubt my computer could even run it, but hey! Still worth a try or 2 imho.

Also there was this one open source strategy/rpg I found which was pretty good. Gotta find a link though.

I was going to get back into the game, but since I have CoD4, I don't see the point in doing so. Maybe in the near future.

Speaking of FPS games, we could play Unreal Tournament or UT2004 sometime if your up for it.

They aren't free to buy of course, but you can buy Unreal Collection for like $20 now, with all games and expansions.

Wait...YOUR COMPUTER CAN RUN UNREAL TOURNAMENT?!!? Dude, I got the game. We need to play against each other someday. It would be sooooooo much fun. I'm not the greatest, but, man, that would be a blast. I'll be sure to mention this in AIM.

Why would my computer not run UT? That game came out back in 1999, and UT2004 was released in 2004.

The only thing I couldn't run is the new Unreal Tournament 3 or wtfever it's called.

I'm surprised Arkas hasn't demanded we all play the Pirates MMO game. As for me, I want a good free RPG of sorts to play.

The list was just updated with all the games mentioned so far, as well as a number of websites with MMO lists.

good idea for a thread this i have not really been one for free online games i think i was always under the impression you get what you pay foior but hey i would be up for it if something could be organised

I play Maple Story now anyhow. Doesn't lag half as bad as Pirates does. Not terribly often, but I play it.

That'll redirect you to something or other Nexon, but that's the right place. They have this other game that looks decent. Haven't checked it out though. It's Mabinogi or something similar.

I am not even sure if I ever played that before or not lol...but I heard a bit of both good anf bad about it.
