Most unique musicians/bands
Out of the entire industry, who do you think has the most unique sound? The kind of person/band that sets his/her/itself far and above any others, and the moment you hear one of their songs you know it's them? You can list specific band members or just bands in general. Here's my list:
Vocalists:
Ronnie James Dio (Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, solo career)
Ozzy Osbourne (Black Sabbath, solo career)
Brian Johnson (AC/DC)
Bon Scott (AC/DC)
Joey Belladonna (Anthrax)
Dave Mustaine (Megadeth)
Cam Pipes (3 Inches of Blood)
Guitarists:
Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath)
Randy Rhoads (Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne)
Kai Hansen (Helloween, Gamma Ray)
Marty Friedman (Megadeth)
Kirk Hammet/James Hetfield (Metallica) (the first four albums at least)
Bassists:
Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath, short solo career)
Cliff Burton (Metallica)
Steve Harris (Iron Maiden)

Re: Most unique musicians/bands
I think you could've left Brian Johnson off the list, since he did little more than try to immitate Bon Scott.
Also, i'm surprised you left Halford and Bruce Dickinson off your vocalist list.
Also, I never heard any 3 Inches Of Blood...so no comment.
I will try to get my own list up here later.

You're right, I'm not sure why I left off Halford and Dickinson...they both stand out among any imitators. I also forgot Steve Harris from the bassists list, which was a huge mistake, 'cause no one can argue with those galloping basslines. I edited him in though.
