Possible staff position openings

As the activity continues to grow here, I may need a few people to help me on the staff.

While I don't have a head-count yet, it won't be anymore than 1-2 people at first.


This won't be for a week or 2 yet, and it'll ONLY happen if there's enough activity to warrant more staff.

Also do not come to me asking for a staff position. When/if I start accepting applications, I will announce it on the forums.

Well, as I've stated before, I know you'll chose the right person for the job. And good luck reading all the applications. LOL

Well, i'm still trying to hammer out the requirements for joining the staff.

A high level of activity here is definitely a must, especially since the people in question would be responsible for keeping this place active in the event of my absence.

Again this is still a ways off, since we are only starting to make some headway in getting this forum off the ground.

Everyone will be kept updated on the staff situation though.

If I were made a member of the staff, I doubt I could uphold my position for long...I get shipped out in May, which might seem like a long time from now, but it's not really...eh, anyway. I'm dying to at least know the requirements!

Well, i'm still going to work on finalizing the requirements.

I think the main things would just be enthusiasm, responsability, active here, and wanting to help me further this forum for the better.

That and he wants to be bribed. *pulls out a case of Game Fuel and a case of Live Wire* Ahem, will this work? ^_^

Were I to accept bribery, yes it probably would work

Between Game Fuel,Live Wire, and Jolt...any of those are like Gold to me!

Heh. I try to win stuff without bribing and/or flashing people... Needless to say, doesn't work to try for things the honest way. lol

In all seriousness, you may very well get a chance to be on staff if your current activity level holds up when I open applications!

Just keep it up, and we'll see where we are when application time is here.

Well, I plan on continueing to post, but if you feel like someone else is more qualify for the opening, I'd rather them get the job. Don't worry, I won't throw a fit and threaten to leave... That kind of drama is better off on another forum.

I will consider past Moderator and Admin experience as well, and you seem to have some of that which is a plus

Again though, i'm not even sure when i'll be opening staff jobs.

We need to focus right now on getting more members, and keeping the ones we have before we worry about the staff issue more.

You would probably have to go over it with me in advance, since i'm being cautious who I invite over here.

Well, i'll keep working on the members...you folks work on keeping up the activity!

I'll take on TV and Movies when positions open, if you want me to that is.

You are definitely the best man for that job, so i'll keep you in mind when the applications open

Again though, i'm not sure when the staff openings will happen though.

We still only have 16 members, and about 12 of therm post fairly regulary.

Well, I have posted the link for here on a couple forums but so far, no one's joined... I reckon it's time for shameless advertising.

I think we all need to work on pulling out the stops, and do some more advertising.

Once I quit you know where, i'll definitely feel a huge burden lifted.

I'll go to various forums and advertise. Hopefully it gets more members.

I signed up for the Rock Band forum and the PlayStation one. I just wanted to know if there is any way to get a small image I can use for this place, you know like the one in my sig?

So far I was able to advertise on one forum, called Mercury. I can only advertise in my sig so I doubt it helped any. But we'll see. I waiting for approval to advertise from an admin at Gaming Evolved, but that forum is pretty much dead so I should just join random forums to get people to join.
