Reading Snow by Orhan Pamuk. Starting to realize why this guy won a Nobel Prize for Literature.

To be honest, I have never heard of that book before.

Can you tell me what it's about? Smile

Currently working on the Harry Potter books again. Seeing if there's anything I missed in the books. Currently on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Everything after Order of the Phoenix is trash.

To be honest, I have never heard of that book before.

Can you tell me what it's about? Smile

Turkish poet named Ka was exiled to Germany, returns to Turkey to the city of Kars. He arrives, meets a beauty from his college days, rushes into things, etc. However, the book is more about his reason for going there, which is to report on the wave of suicides by girls who have been forced to remove their head-scarves. There's a bunch of stuff in here dealing with religion and subject of faith, which I find fascinating. Anyway, some other plot driven things happen (REVOLUTION!), but that seems to be what it's about so far.

That does sound like one hell of a book, so i'll definitely have to research it some more Smile

I wonder if the local bookstore would have it.

Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk.

It's a great book so far. I really like Palahniuk's writing style. Smile

Frank, you're so mean. Sad

I'm currently working on New Moon, which I have to say, it's a lot better than Twilight. To me, Twilight was boring and it seemed to just drag on and on and on. :/ I hate books like that, but the ending was good. Only thing is, I honestly don't want to read something, only for it to get good at the end.

New Moon is actually a lot better than Twilight, having a much faster pace than it's predecessor, and at least this time, Bella isn't whining as much. >>
